About Me

Hello there ! So here’s a little about me : I’m a twenty-something year old who was born in Toronto, Canada but moved away to the Africa when I was 6 months old. My pursuit of higher education brought me back but I’m an African at heart.

I love to travel and to learn about new cultures, languages and communities and seek out the universal truths that surround us everyday.

I have no plan to cycle from Cape Town to Cairo nor from Europe to Africa, nothing huge. I’m just a girl who has a passion for Africa and trying to find my footing in the world. I don’t see what others see in Africa, I see the most scenic land in the world and the most beautiful people. Therefore, I took some time last year to explore different development initiatives across Africa( South Africa, Tanzania and Congo). I worked working with different organization and tried to learn as much as possible from each of these unique organizations. I learned much more than I expected and met the most amazing people.

These blogs will not only speak of the development initiatives, but travel experiences and personal discoveries.Almost every blog has something that I’ve learned on this amazing adventure.

I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I do !
